Harmonix is literally so pretty. And the fact they made Sirenix all the same "to be easier to make in 3D" but no one talks about how they made two movies, one with Enchantix and one with Believix which were different + the individual gowns and usual outfits and other characters. This time they were just lazy in my opinion.

A lot of 4kids dubbed shows are, sub par at best....some even cringey. But I really liked The Winx club one. It just, fit you know? Icy's voice was canon imo. The new ones just don't do her justice

I used to love the Winx club whether if it’s animation is on Nickelodeon or 4kids tv. Even the songs when they transform are really smooth and heavy. To be honest I like the fact the storyline in the franchise different version shows that the characters especially the protagonist bloom can be used in situations that’s similar to the 4kids original in the first two seasons that can be more serious in a 4K style than how they were tone down in og 2D style, but It sucks the fact that Nick and rainbow didn’t do the same for the rest of the later seasons.

the original colour palette for the transformation was just effect I hope they don’t change it like layla’s green and bloom’s blue was just so charming in the perfect way and i loved the individuality of their wings and the shape was just *chefs kiss*

People often complain about the pacing, but I think they probably hedged their bets. They signed for two seasons. If the show flopped, they would have to make a cohesive show out of a story too big for 16 episodes... in 16 episodes. I think they did the best they could with the looming threat of Amazon not buying any more seasons hanging over them, and I think it's admirable that they took their shortest potential timeframe into consideration.

Pixies are so underrated. I love the addition of them. I notcie they also go well with each fairies. Especially chatter with flora

Seeing the Black Circle on that poster signals to me that they might be remixing the story beats to create a new flow for the plot. Which is interesting to me since I've felt the need to do the same when imagining an Winx rewrite. Starting with the Black Circle feels appropriate since Bloom's story starts on Earth and it makes sense that she'd end up on their radar. It could create a new element for the start of Bloom's arc too, if everyone assumed she was the last of the Earth fairies (and was pursued by the Black Circle for it) only to find out that, surprise! She's actually the fairy of the Dragon Fire. If they played their cards right, it could create rich world- and story building for new fans, as well as a plot twist with the reveal of the true source of her Winx. Plus, in general, reordering events would help solve a lot of the issues with the timeline and retcons that the og show had. I hope they go that route.

lmao I had the same reaction to that clip of arsonist Bloom. "Oh my god! She has a personality! There's hope!!!!!" The fact that we got more personality in that tiny little clip than we've gotten in entire seasons recently......😬

You can’t except everybody to be great parents as you put it, but in aang and tophs case, it seemed like they were just plain bad parents. Sure, they weren’t great, but aang had to focus on teaching everything he knew to Tenzin to pass on the ways of airbending. As for Toph, I kind of saw this coming. Honestly though, I don’t think she should have had kids. It just seems out of character for Toph. You also have to consider how these 2 grew up, toph had strict parents who never allowed her to have any friends while Aang didn’t have any parenting experience at all. They had to mature fast, because the entire world was rely on them along with the other giant members to save the entire world.

It's also kinda funny that both Amelia's voice actress and Zelgadis's voice actor changed out halfway through The Slayers. Never really did know why that happened, but after that the cast was set...right up until they didn't take David Moo back as Xellos for Slayers Revolution and Evolution-R, which was a huge mistake.

Lisa Ortiz did a good job sounding like an English version of Megumi Hayashibara's rendition of Lina.
